Nin Rai
Nin founded Truffles Fine Foods Catering Services in 2005. Nin’s professional pedigree spans 15 years in some of the world’s finest kitchens. Since setting up Truffles Fine Foods, he has assembled an elite team from the brightest and best culinary talent in the Greater Vancouver Area.
Corporate Chef and Café Chef
Reto
Enter the cafe's European presence: Reto was born in Switzerland, and recently returned to Canada after 6 months back home. In the past, he's worked on exotic cruise ships, cooked in five star restuarants in Germany, and apprenticed at a hotel in Switzerland. Since the age of twelve, he knew he wanted to be a chef. His experience began with a few lessons from his parents, but most often led to experiments in the kitchen that weren't always sources of parental joy. Working in Canada, particularly with Truffles, has given Reto a dramatic contrast in food industry environments. Not surprisingly, Reto loves to travel, and he also likes DIY projects, outdoor sports including rock climbing, biking, snowboarding, and skiing.
